Planning a budget for your ideabox project can seem scary; after all this is not like buying a new book, TV or even a car. There’s a bit more to consider and plan. Fortunately, we have over 15 years successfully providing homes for our clients and can share some guidelines for your budget planning.
So, let’s break the budget down into two main areas assuming a typical project:

House Build: 55% — covers the design, engineering and build cost for your ideabox. These are the prices listed on this website.
Transport: 5% — third party provider cost to securely truck your ideabox from the factory to your site.
Your general contractor costs in blue:
Site Work: 35% — this includes permits, preparing your site and foundation and post delivery. We’ll provide you the scope of work and your contractor will estimate the costs. Your cost may vary depending on site development requirements.
Installation: 5% — third party provider cost to expertly move your ideabox from the truck to your foundation. Depending on your specific site, the cost may run higher.
